Which is better, Web CEO (Free) or SEO Elite (Without Extras)??
Embarassing, but I installed SEO Elite on the maximum number of machines. And somebody reccomended Web CEO Free.
If you could recommend any other SEO software, that’d be GREAT! Freeware only please.

SEO when translated to mean “good content attracts quality links and quality links help rankings” is what search engine users want used to promote sites in search results.
Artificial link building, e.g. directories and traded links, are intended to circumvent the “good content” element and this makes sites temporarily rank high even though they may have nothing to offer visitors. That’s not what search engine users want. Fortunately, links in directories and traded links are now having a far less (if any) impact on a site’s search results ranking.
Create good content, ping the search engines, participate in the blogosphere with meaningful comments and you will be amazed at how high your pages will rank in the search results. And you get to keep the money you otherwise would be wasting.
